The opulent Grand Ballroom has reopened after an extensive restoration.

The jewel in The Langham's crown, this remarkable room retains the majestic renaissance pillars and shimmering chandeliers that so delighted the 19th century elite of Europe.

The Grand Ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 375 for a reception or 280 for a seated dinner. Immediately adjoining the Grand Ballroom is a newly created pre-function space The Portland Foyer, which accommodates 200 for a delightful champagne reception before guests are seated for dinner.

In Spring 2011, The Grand Ballroom’s elaborately draped windows, will open on to a terrace overlooking a tranquil courtyard – known as The Middleton Garden, one of the oldest private gardens in London dating back to the mid-eighteenth century.
