Dating from 1932, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is Britain’s oldest permanent, professional outdoor theatre and after a multi-award winning season in 2009, there are four productions scheduled for the 2011 season which runs from 19 May to 10 September: “Lord of the Flies” adapted from William Golding’s classic novel by Nigel Williams; “The Beggar’s Opera” by John Gay; Shakespeare’s “Pericles” re-imagined for younger audiences and Gershwin’s “Crazy for You”.
