Event Bafta awards ceremony
Date: February 12th
Venue: Royal Opera House

With last night's Golden Globes kick-starting the award season, those British film fans wishing to catch a glimpse of the stars on the red carpet this year may want to arrange a trip to London.

On February 12th,the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden will host the Orange British Academy Film Awards (Baftas) for the sixth successive year and those who are thinking of heading to the ceremony could choose to live like a movie star by staying in a 5 star hotel.

Big winners last night included Meryl Streep and George Clooney, while cinematic talent such as Brad Pitt, Glen Close and Stephen Spielberg will be hoping their work gets rewarded by Bafta.

After watching the celebrities walk the red carpet, people can then stay out for a few drinks at cocktail bars in London before retiring to their luxury London hotel like The Langham to enjoy a wonderful night's sleep.
