As well as there being a number of well-known bands set to taketo the stage, visitors will be able to enjoy as much Ben andJerry's ice cream as they like ?????for free.

It is perhaps this, more than the bands that will be playing,that will appeal to the kids.

Bands signed up to play include Scouting for Girls, Doves,Idlewild and Billy Bragg.

They join a list of recognisable acts that have taken to theClapham Common stage for what is one of London's morefamily-friendly music festivals.

Artists to have played previously include Ash, The Human Leagueand The Proclaimers.
