Parents who are looking for ways to keep their children entertained in the February half-term break may want to take them to the capital.

A London family hotel will allow parents and children alike to be in the heart of the city's action during the holiday and where better than the Museum of Childhood to fascinate little minds? Especially as the venue is launching a special exhibit for the occasion.

February Half Term: Fairytale Fiends is a "fiendish" week of arts, crafts and storytelling, where kids get the opportunity to leave a trailing of mischief across the museum.

Running alongside the fairytale event is Wordburst, a four-hour literary event that teaches children the basics of stagecraft.

This means that the youngsters could be kept entertained as mothers and fathers stroll through London's high streets and the whole family can reunite for tea.

They can then retire for a good night's rest at a 5 star hotel such as The Langham.
