Oxbridge Boat Race crews named and weighed in

Event: The BNY Mellon Boat Race (Oxford vs Cambridge)
Date: March 31st
Venue: River Thames - Putney to Mortlake

For the first time in the history of The Boat Race, the Oxford and Cambridge crews - both men's and women's - have been finalised and weighed in at the same time as each other.

Families looking for a great day out over the Easter weekend should look no further than the BNY Mellon Boat Race, as it promises to be an extremely exciting, family-friendly occasion where fun can be had by people of all ages.

Crews from the two prestigious universities will push themselves to the absolute physical limit as they row as hard as their bodies will allow in a gruelling effort to beat their longstanding rivals.

For the first time since 2009, Oxford will be siding the heavier crew, with both boats featuring a scattering of Olympians, making the race all the more exciting - especially for those who were unable to secure tickets to Eton Dorney last summer.

After a nail-bitingly exciting afternoon at the water's edge shouting and cheering, families may wish to retreat for a spot of afternoon tea at Palm Court to finish a quintessentially British afternoon in typically English fashion.
