Latin American festival comes to London

Anyone in London this weekend in the mood for a party may beinterested in going to Europe's largest Latin American festival,the Carnaval Del Pueblo.
Burgess Park in south London will host this year's event, whichwill see visitors getting "Brazilian fever" as they take part indance, sample food and watch a parade of floats and costumeddancers.
The free event will kick off at 12pm and will go on until 10pmon Sunday (August 1st).
As well as Brazilian and Bolivian stages, there will be a Mexicozone and an area just for children.
One of the acts performing at the event will be The LebronBrothers, who have spent 47 years at the top of the salsacharts.
Mayor Boris Johnson said of the carnival: "London has a vibrantand diverse Latin American community, which makes an importantcontribution to the life of the capital. Truly, it know how tothrow a party."
This will be the 12th year that the Carnaval Del Pueblo hastaken place, which last year attracted an estimated 100,000revellers.
