Event: Lady Gaga waxwork unveiling
Date: Unconfirmed
Location: Madame Tussauds

Visitors enjoying a London weekend getaway could see history being made as Madame Tussauds unveils waxworks of Lady Gaga at all ten of its venues worldwide simultaneously.

With the popularity of the controversial singer showing no sign of waning, the top attraction has decided that it's time she got her own wax-lookalike.

As well as a model being unveiled in the original London venue, Madame Tussauds is gearing up to spend £1 million to make ten of the dummies, with fans in New York and Washington among those also set to benefit from the stunt, the Daily Star has reported.

An insider at the tourist attraction told the newspaper: "This is definitely one of the most ambitious projects in our history."

Although it is due to take place in the next few weeks, a specific date for the unveiling has yet to be confirmed.

The upcoming figure of Lady Gaga will find itself in good company, with Marie Tussaud having created wax figures of the likes of Rousseau, Voltaire and Benjamin Franklin over the course of her lifetime.
