Find out if aliens exist at Close Encounters
London family vacation
Event: Close Encounters
Dates: October 25th to 31st
Venue: Royal Albert Hall
Visitors to the capital may like to find out more about aliens, the night sky and space at Close Encounters.
The event has a range of activities that could keep everyone on a London family vacation entertained and they may even learn a thing or two.
The Royal Albert Hall is running a festival of art, music and science surrounding space. Some of the events include an exhibition showcasing images of the Solar System and screenings of classic sci-fi films.
Children on a London family vacation may like to watch ET, which is about an alien trying to get home, and adults may enjoy Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Both films are directed by Steven Spielberg and Close Encounters tells the story of Roy Neary, whose life changes after he is abducted by aliens.
Family events being held include the Planetarium Show: Goldilocks and the Three Aliens, which is suitable for everyone aged over four.
Youngsters will be taken on an interactive tour of the Solar System and they can ask space experts any questions they may have.
After a Close Encounter, visitors can retire to a safe haven from aliens to the 5 star Langham London hotel.
