Experience sports at London Olympic venues

With less than 200 days until the start of the London Olympics, sports enthusiasts who do not yet have a ticket for the Games may be tempted by a chance to have a sneak peak at some of the facilities in action during the London Prepares scheme.

Four years ago, Team GB excelled itself in Beijing's velodrome and people who book to see the UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics, which start on February 19th, will see some of the talent which will hope to be victorious this time around.

Other events include the rhythmic gymnastics Olympic qualifier in the O2 and the FINA Diving World Cup at the Olympic Park Aquatics Centre, which will see Britain's 10m-platform specialist Tom Daly compete against a host of other world-class divers.

Visitors to London who decide that they want to take part in the build-up to this historic event could opt for the luxury of a 5 star hotel like The Langham as their base.
