Fans of the works of Charles Dickens many want to take a trip to the capital in the next few months to see some of the best and rarest film and television adaptations.
The event is being held by BFI Southbank and to make the most of it and see more than one film, people may want to book a few nights' stay in a London family hotel.
Dickens on Screen is part of the worldwide celebrations of the London author's 200th birthday.
Highlights include the first version of Great Expectations to feature sound and Christine Edzard's two-part adaptation of Little Dorrit.
Alternatively, visitors may want to experience the sights which inspired the author to write by taking Richard Jones's route around Dickens' London
After watching the shows or taking the walk, people can enjoy a spot of tea and then retire to a luxury London hotel such as The Langham to enjoy a wonderful night's sleep, before waking up to feel refreshed enough to do it all over again.
