Broadcaster and comedian Stephen Fry will be discussing a range of topics at a one-off show in London - Stephen Fry Live.

People could enjoy some afternoon tea in the capital before visiting the Royal Albert Hall for an evening of culture and entertainment.

Stephen Fry, who has appeared in Blackadder and Bones and is the host to intellectual quiz QI, will be talking about subjects suggested by his Twitter followers.

If it goes well it is hoped that a national tour will follow but people can catch it first in London.

Writing on his blog Mr Fry said:"I have MC-ed, hosted, guested and otherwise infested that noble venue many times over the last quarter century, but never have I done a whole evening on my own. I am excited."

Fans of Fry, who has also written four novels and an autobiography, could make a day of it by indulging in afternoon tea before attending the event.

After an evening that will hopefully be full of laughs visitors can retire in style to the five star Langham hotel, London.
