Let your creative juices flow at the Free Word Festival

Fine dining London

Event: Flow: Free Word Festival
Dates: September 14th to October 5th
Venue: Free Word Centre

Let your creative vibes out at Flow: Free Word Festival and partake in writing yourself or just find out more about highly-acclaimed authors.

Visitors to the capital may like to enjoy an evening of fine dining before attending one of the many workshops and talks that are being held as part of the festival.

Literary fans may get the chance to meet authors such as Jake Arnott, Nicholas Shakespeare, AS Byatt and the illustrator Quentin Blake.

An exhibition showcasing the works of American artist Jenny Holzer will also be held throughout the festival.

The main focus of her work is to use text as art and most of her recent pieces incorporate words and ideas into public spaces.

Families can find something to keep them amused at the How to be a Silly Family workshop, led by John Hegley and Matt Rudkin.

Participants will be encouraged to dance, sing and move around, while fairy cakes and juice are provided.

Adults can also find workshops to suit them, such as writing throughout the night at the Lock-in, or finding out more about Whistle by Martin Figura.

After a day spent fine dining in London and discovering how to let the words just Flow, visitors can retire in style to the five star Langham hotel, London.
