Enjoy Tudor romance in London

One of the capital's most romantic attractions is celebrating the occasion by hosting a series of themed events and it could be the exact setting people are looking for on a Valentine's Day break in a 5 star hotel.

Courtly Love and Romance is staged at the Hampton Court Palace and gives modern-day lovers the chance to see how courtship was practiced in Tudor times.

People can then walk the length of Henry VIII's State Apartments and see the country's last and greatest medieval banqueting hall.

Couples will be transported back to February 1544 and make Valentine's gifts under the stewardship of Queen Kateryn Parr.
