A-Ha's last hurrah: Hunting High and Low at the Royal Albert Hall

Event: A-Ha live at the Royal Albert Hall
Date: October 8th, 2010

Music-fans booking a luxury hotel room in London at the end of the summer could be in with a chance of seeing A-Ha's last-ever concert.

The Norwegian pop stars, who have been together for a quarter of a decade, have now decided to call it quits.

But, before bowing out, the band has confirmed they are to play a one-off date at the Royal Albert Hall on October 8th, with demand for tickets and luxury hotel rooms likely to soar in the build-up to the show.

Announcing the news, keyboard player Magne Furuholmen revealed that the debut A-Ha album Hunting High and Low will be performed in its entirety on the night.

"The Royal Albert Hall has always been one of our favourite places in the world to play," he said.

"To perform here one final time, and play our first album in its entirety now, at the end of our career, this will be a very emotional moment for us all!"

For those who like their music a little more classical, the historic Royal Albert Hall will also be hosting the annual Proms throughout the summer, meaning that luxury hotels could be in high demand.
